It has all started three years ago in French city named Marmande. There, most of us, for the first time participated in Youth Exchange named ""Traditional Arts and Games"". After 10 days, we came back to our
country, rich in new experiences and bunch of friendships. Friendships, which we take care till now. Because, after all... how would vacation looks like without meeting with Portuguese and French friends? :)
This time Bastien from France and Joao, Diogo, Miguel, Pedro from Portugal visited us in our country. The whole visit called by us ""Summer in Poland"" started in Warsaw, where we were waiting for our colleagues at the aiport. 2 days in the capital have passed extremely fast. We gained such a nice experience during a visit to the Centre Copernicus Science, Palace of Culture, Old Town, but also during the evening on the Pola Mokotowskie, where we were singing and playing guitar till morning.
""Bydgoszcz - Be My Guest"", so it's time to come back to home. A nice surprise for us was the fact that our guests falled in love with Bydgoszcz immediately and assured us of this beauty all days and nights long. The boys were delighted with the church Fara, Wyspa Młyńska, and after hours of sightseeing, we tried our best in water sports in Wake Park in Myslecinek. Another attraction was going to the Polish Theatre, where we could watch performence called ""Outraged"". This whole event could not happened without swimming in the lake in the night, and parties till morning. Among the Polish specialties, the name of ""the most delicious meal"" gained traditional pork and of course polish dumplings. Tasty cakes and buns made us feel just like in heaven :)
The biggest attraction, and in the same time a challenge was a trip to Sopot! Weather did not spare us with the sun, so we were lying on the beach the whole day, and a night as well :) In the morning we went to Gdansk, to attend in the opening of the Dominican Fair.
We conquered Mazowsze, Pomorze, Kujawy, and even Małopolska! In the old Polish capital, beautiful Krakow, we spent the last 3 days of our travel. We visited the Old Town, Sukiennice, Kazimierz, Wawel Royal Castle and also the concentration camp at Auschwitz.
It is hard to find words to describe the emotions that accompanied us during those 11 days. Hugs, kisses, tears of joy and emotions ..
Guys, thank you for those days, which we had spent together. Than you for love, magic, hope and faith.
