After first Project in Biarritz we all were sure that it was not the last time. During the days 16-21.11.2013 we met for the second time in lovely Basque country, where organizations Les Sureaux and Les chemins de l’Europe hosted us well.
As it turned out, our network flourishes. Since the last meeting in June 2012, many projects has been written and implemented and the next ones are already under construction.
What did we expect from N.I.S.E? Surely, the hard work as it is the key to the success. Four days of planning, thinking and discussing together about the education and tools for work with the youth. Every day started with sportgysers waking us up for the action. The biggest fun we had with Ukrainian games and Danish “kubb” played outdoor. During the project we also focused on forming the rules of the international contact network - Network International in Sport & Education and regulations concerning the international association’s creation. We summarized our work done during the time of the cooperation and that is how the unique poster with nets between our organisations has been created. At the moments of apparent rest when we were walking by the ocean beach or sightseeing charming Biarritz, we were actually still planning new projects and developing our ideas together.
Traditionally, we also participated in the intercultural evening where we had occasion to taste specialties from all over the world and to present a piece of our heritage – polish snacks and the poem of C. K. Norwid.
Friendly, familial atmosphere which was all around is hard to forget. Surely, we will also miss the beautiful ocean… We have already met twice, now we are waiting forward to seeing each other again during the previous N.I.S.E meeting… and we know it will happen soon!
