Helena, who will be the leader at the next exchange in Spain flew to APV and behold her relationship.
Days 12-14 Feb are gathered in my memory as the most active days since few months. From the very morning I was in travel and just changing different tickets for the control – from bus ticket, to train ticket and finally to the plane ticket. A moment of silence was waiting for me on Liverpool airport. I realized there, it is going to be my first Advanced Planning Visit ever.
My trip's destination was Spain and sunny Elche which welcomed me with 22 Celsius degrees. Together with the leaders from Estonia, Czech Republic, and Spain obviously, we met to discuss the most important issues of the Youth Exchange “Eco Future” which will take place in one month. During it, teenagers of 13-17 years old will be learning how to live a healthy life, they will also meet the culture and tradition of the partners.
We started with talking the daily timetable over, then we visited the school – our sleeping venue during the exchange, where we got very friendly welcoming by the headmaster. During the afternoon was the time for visiting the town and using the advantages of the climate by sitting outdoor in the café (yes, in Frebruary, and without coats!) and drinking fresh orange juice. After such regeneration and peaceful conclusions the time for return came. A return to slagheaps of snow…But it was worth it!
