My name is Farcik and I am a reflective fellow. I was born in 2010 and my father is Sławek Piotrowski - a guy who they say is positively curled. And that's the real truth. Just like his and me, it's bursting with energy and willingness to help others. Like him, I have a lot of ideas. Often too much and sometimes even a little crazy ones. I like traveling and I have already visited many places. I also have many friends, but I would like to have more of them. And I came to the conclusion that it's about time to tell you my story. Have you ever used to drive past a pedestrian or a cyclist in the last minute when going after dark? You realized how little was lacking at this moment, right? What did you think then? Probably something unreadable ... I've had it too many times.
And the most important question - was this pedestrian or cyclist aware that he literally brushed himself to death? Will next be equipped with something reflective to give the driver a few extra seconds and a chance for any reaction?
Of course, you know the proverb "a smart Pole after the damage", right? And can not Poles be wise before the damage? Does another misfortune have to happen to make us understand how fragile human life is?
You need to change the mentality of people and their way of perceiving the "problem" of reflections! That was the first thought that came to my father. Just how to do it? There is a widespread belief that there is a big problem with reflections. But the problem is not with their lack, because dozens, hundreds of thousands and probably even millions have been distributed to them. The problem is that most of us have them, but do not use them.
My father began to wonder what to do to change it and make it safer on our roads. As he told me later, it lasted until the unexpectedly came a dazzle - or maybe it would be ... Slowly, step by step, the idea took shape and after many attempts came into being ... a "magic" tuba. Yes, I know, the name is "a bit" strange, but there is actually a lot of magic in the tube, because the viewers mostly do not expect what they saw! Anyway, you have to see it yourself. I will tell you more later. But it turned out that the tube itself is not enough. And at that moment, finally, I appear.
I completed this company and now we are like three musketeers. We are a harmonious package - my father, "magic" tube and me. Our activities are directed not only to children, but also to young people and adults, because we are all road users - as pedestrians, cyclists, drivers, etc. And we try to convince everyone that even the smallest reflection can save our health and even life !
We have already done a lot, but as my father says - there is still a lot ahead of us.
It is impossible to describe everything that has happened so far, although I will probably come back to some topics. But let's agree that in the next post my story will start with "reflective" buses.
