Just it've finished the auction of the plates with photos and signatures of all Speedway Grand Prix 2009 drivers.
In our action participated fantastic people from Polonia Bydgoszcz Net Fans and Net Fans Speedway Torun. Thanks to them it was possible to bid this competition on theirs websites. More about this action click here.
The competition was very stubborn but the last word said Torun and the final result is: Torun 700 PLN and Bydgoszcz 565 PLN.
However as all participants said the victory wasn't the most important but the fact we can do something for improving the road safety. Because of the earlier agreement we bought the books “Safety bicycle” for the money from both auctions and where to give it decide the winning city.
In this case decision about 350 books took Torun.
And decision surprised us very nicely. It was common auction and action and therefore we've decided to give these books to the primary schools placed on the way between Bydgoszcz and Torun to the ones in Zlawies Wielka (175 books), Gorsk (125) and Przysiek (50).
We hope for continuing actions like this.
I'd like to thank very much to all participants and winners of our actions.
But the biggest thanks belong to Andrzej from Bydgoszcz and Olek from Torun because of theirs help and involvement it was possible to do this action.
So, maybe a small revenge in the future?
