Winter didn't stop us and we landed in our favorite place again Hotel Jantar Wellnes & Spa.
We are not ecology experts, but as ordinary and average citizens we want to show that each of us can, in our own way, do SOMETHING with the waste and garbage that we all produce. Therefore, together with the hotel owners and its staff, we continue to take actions to draw our attention to broadly understood environmental protection. And one example of this are eco workshops organized by us as part of the #GarbageSecondLife campaign.
This time, hotel guests decorated Christmas trees from wine barks themselves, and during subsequent workshops, they decorated recycled flower pots and planted plants in them.
The main idea of our activities is to engage participants in active work and provoke them to reflect on broadly understood environmental protection, waste segregation and recycling. That's why all our workshops are held under the common slogan #GarbageSecondLife. And of course, workshop participants take all the effects of their work home with them.
A big thank you to the Plast-Mar company from Balczewo, which provided us with recycled flower pots, to the VITROFLORA company, which provided us with the plants, and to the Best-Pol company, thanks to which we were able to glue it all together.
But there was also a Christmas element, i.e. a Christmas tree made of plastic bottles, which was erected in front of the hotel for the 4th time. And this year, thanks to the support of Leding Sp. z o. o. The Christmas tree "received" new lighting as a gift.
