On 17 and 18 of December In As markets on streets Brzozowa, Leszczyńskiego, Nowodworska, Chodkiewicza, Gierczak and Kiermasz market on Chodkiewicza was placed our next sweets collection for children from Orphan Houses, Social Clubs … means for these ones who haven't enough luck in their life.
Thank you very much to the managment of AS Market cos thanks to them we could do this action again.
And what is the most important we weren't alone. They were support us scouts from 83 BDH ""Wicher"" and 81 BDW ""Sztorm"", the youth from High School no. 11 in Bydgoszcz, foreign students from Erasmus Programme studied in UTP in Bydgoszcz, WSG students with the blind classmates, speedway fans from Polonia Bydgoszcz Netfans and what is worthy to say straight from the training volleyball players from women team of Palac Bydgoszcz.
We wanted to show that everyone can help and truly if somebody want there's no borders like the age, disability, foreign language or tiredness. And results of our collection shows it's worthy to do it – 550 kg of sweets, including 1.550 chocolates.
All these goods will be delivered to:
- The Centre of Weak Hearing and Deaf for Children and Youth in Bydgoszcz – 37 kg
- House of the Social Assistance for Mentally Handicapped of Children and Youth in Grabie – 71 kg
- “Children Safety” Association – 102 kg
- Primary School - Community Center in Sliwice – 25 kg
- Primary School no. 4 in Fordon – 40 kg
- High School no. 11 in Bydgoszcz - 46 kg
- “Windmill” Foundation – 84 kg
- Salesian Association of the Youth Education – 60 kg
- House of the Social Assistance for Mentally Handicapped of Children and Youth in Kamien Krajenski – 65 kg
Great thanks to companies which gave us logistic support:But the biggest thanks for my FANTASTIC WIFE ‘cos without her help and support I couldn't do anything.
Also I'd like to thank to all our volunteers and their helpers which spent their time for helping to others. And we were more than 100.
