ZERO WASTE FESTIVAL- Bydgoszcz Civic Budget - Bydgoszcz / Poland

A lot has happened and is happening at the hospitable premises of the Bydgoszcz Center for Non-Governmental Organizations and Volunteering.

This time, the ZERO WASTE Festival was held there, organized by the Museum of Soap and the History of Dirt and financed from the Bydgoszcz Civic Budget. Great respect for the organizers for their great contribution to the preparation of this unique event.

It is impossible to describe all the attractions that awaited visitors, including thematic workshops, lectures, exchanges, stands of organizations and producers related to ecology, competitions and artistic performances.

We have been assigned the role of conducting upcycling workshops. Children used plastic caps and designed recycling pots on their own, and then planted plants in them on their own. Many thanks to PLASTMAR and ZIELEŃ MIEJSKA companies for supporting our workshop.

Children, as well as adults, surprised us with their amazing creativity and it was a great pleasure to see their commitment.

We also prepared a mini-exhibition of what we did as part of our #GarbageSecondLife campaign, i.e. decorative, utility and educational items made of the so-called waste and rubbish, e.g. plastic bottles and caps, wine corks, parts of old pallets, strings, wires, sticks, stones, cardboard and much more. It turned out to be a big surprise for many visitors, but also inspiration to our great satisfaction.

Thanks again for the invitation, because we had a great time sharing our ideas and passion with others.
