What can you do with 300 plastic bottles, 1.000 caps, 300 straws, 50m of twine and stretch film? You can make an unusual Christmas tree!
Why not real and green? There are a lot of reasons. First of all, it is an unusual desire to draw attention to the problem of garbage and a kind of provocation that is to force people to reflect on what and how much they buy during the holiday season, and how much rubbish and unused food will remain after Christmas shopping. Every day we "produce" more and more garbage, pack it into bags and ... throw it away. But do we wonder what happens to them later? How incredibly litter our environment? A plastic bottle decomposes after approx. 600 years! Or maybe you can give her a "second life" and use it again. It is a challenge, great fun, but also education.
Great location, delicious food and very friendly service make Hotel Jantar Wellness & Spa Ustka a great and year-round place to relax for individuals and entire families.
This is not our first cooperation, because for many years Hotel Jantar Wellness & Spa has repeatedly supported our campaign to promote the wearing of reflectives - "Reflectives don't suck", thus contributing to the improvement of safety on Polish roads.
And it was during one of the following conversations that the topic of our next initiative "Garbage Second Life" emerged. And that the owners of the Hotel Jantar Wellness & Spa are active in this field and support pro-ecological initiatives, our arguments quickly convinced them that it is also worth paying attention to the problem of environmental protection, waste segregation and recycling in an unusual way for hotel guests. We didn't need to be told much either. At the agreed date, we packed our car and went to Ustka, so that, after several hours of intensive work, this unique Christmas tree would be placed in front of the hotel.
It is not the only one, but our first bottle Christmas tree and such an action outside Bydgoszcz, and even more thanks to the management of the Hotel Jantar Wellness & Spa for another important and joint initiative. And let "live" Christmas trees grow in the forest.
