This time we came with our action over the beautiful Polish sea.
And here our action REFLECTIVES DON'T SUCK began under the honorary patronage of the President of Gdynia.
This is our 13th city and we are not superstitious at all. Just the opposite. The kindness that we met here, even from the City Transport Company, which made the bus available for our needs, is a great boost to us.
And like in all previous actions, yes this time together, among others with the Police and the City Guards we will persuade not only children but also adolescents and adults that the reflectives can save our lives.
But we also have unique support - basketball teams - Asseco Gdynia with Cheerleaders Gdynia and Basket 90.
Schools, kindergartens, sports matches - there will be actions promoting the wearing of reflectives with help of our "magic" tube. Because it is the result of our actions. Tubes in a very simple but very effective way show whether and why you should wear reflectives. We also want to emphasize that our action is not to replace those activities that the Police and the City Guard have been running for years. This is to be their effective complement.
Reflectives are important, but it is only part of what we call safety. It must be borne in mind that all road users have rights, but also obligations. Drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians mutually "interact" and not only respect the rules, but mutual respect can improve safety on Polish roads and streets.
Huge thanks are to those who have entrusted us with their trust and believe that it is worth doing something for others. Thank you for your great hearts and measurable support, because without your help this project would remain only "on paper".
