Jerzy Sulima-Kaminski - writer, poet and radio journalist associated with Bydgoszcz. We are celebrating the 90th anniversary of his birth. During the whole year there are many events reminiscent of his figure and creativity.
One of such events was today's happening on the bridge ... Sulima-Kaminski organized by his daughter Ela Kamińska-Zielinska.
Young people from Primary School No. 19 read fragments of the book of the Bydgoszcz saga. Other fragments were read by Beata Kowalczyk, a representative of seniors from Szwederowa.
You probably wonder what was our share in this? I came up with an idea that if it happens on the bridge, near the river and the readers were supposed to sit on ... Well, here I came to the conclusion that a good piece of furniture would be an armchair. But why should this chair be ordinary? We made a chair of used plastic bottles.
It is a good opportunity to combine culture and at the same time to draw the attention of the inhabitants of Bydgoszcz to the problem of environmental pollution, including rivers. At the same time, we showed that what we simply throw away can be used in a creative way and give the proverbial garbage a second life.
