Another day and ... another bottle Christmas tree. This time it was prepared for the Bydgoszcz Christmas Fair. Why the used plastic bottles? On the occasion of Christmas, we buy more and consequently "produce" more rubbish. Are they always necessary and thought-out purchases? You can find out about it after Christmas, watching around the garbage cans. And let's not say "it's not US, it's THEY", because these "they" are, among others we. Each of us does something there.
And for us, knowing what's happening with it is just ending up in the trash. There are dozens and hundreds of garbage bags in every garbage dump, and there are dozens and hundreds of rubbish bins throughout the city. And suddenly it turns out that another great mountain of rubbish is growing up somewhere. But we do not realize it because we do not see it. We heard that somewhere, someone said something, that there is a problem with waste, but it does not concern us. Are you sure?
So let's make an "examination of conscience" in this beautiful pre-Christmas period and plan your shopping well and properly. Certainly, these mountains of rubbish will not disappear at once, but let them be smaller. And me, and you, he and she really have an influence on it, what we will leave for future generations.
Thank you very much also to the Partner of the Fair Alstal Group, thanks to which this unusual Christmas tree was created.
President Kennedy once made such a famous phrase, "Do not ask what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." Or maybe it would sound a bit different - "Do not ask what your environment can do for you, ask what you can do for your environment."
Can you? Yes you can
