The 32nd collection of sweets and food has been a great challenge from the very beginning related to the staffing of stores by volunteers. And just when it seemed that we had the situation under control, suddenly everything fell apart and we "lost" most of our helpers. 3 days before the collection, it was a huge problem. But I always say that problems are there to be solved, not to look for new ones. So I rolled up my sleeves and moved the proverbial heaven and earth. It wasn't easy, but believing in success is half of success, so after hours of "hanging" on the phone, posts on social media, the effects came and with the support of many people of good will, we patched all the holes.
I would like to thank all the volunteers including "Big Family" Foudation, III Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Adama Mickiewicza in Bydgoszcz, Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych nr 1 im. Franciszka Siemiradzkiego i Zespół Szkół Budowlanych in Bydgoszcz, who supported us and gave their time to do something for others. .
But of course, the biggest thanks go to those who filled our baskets while shopping. It is thanks to you that smiles will appear on many children's faces.
Just like last time, this time we were collecting money in 2 stores STOKROTKA.
Also, a huge thank you to the company that, despite the difficult situation, still supports our activities.
We collected approx. 120 kg of sweets and food that went to:
- House of the Social Assistance for Mentally Handicapped of Children and Youth in Kamien Krajenski - 27 kg
- House of the Social Assistance for Mentally Handicapped of Children and Youth in Grabie - 27 kg
- "Brave fate assists" - 16 kg
- Family children's home - 25 kg
- and to individual families - 25 kg
